And then at the end of it, I went to an up-tempo shuffle like Parchment Farm or Hoffa Teacher or whatever.

This one was more expensive, the D one, than normal.

So I put the money together and I made the second one.

I said, I want to make this one amazing because It's a great song with Eric Gales, me and Billy.

It's a killer song.

No, so the guy I was talking about, his name is Eric Gales.

That's the guy.

He is coming out with yet another band, Dave.

It's called GCS, and it stars Eric Gales on vocals and guitar, drummer Dennis Chambers, and bassist Billy Sheehan.

That's the G is Gales, C Chambers, s sheehan g c s eric gales came out and said hey y'all just for clarity this is a tour consisting of the three of us which needless to say i'm stupid excited about this and it's not an album we chopped it up and let's shake the earth to its core for a bit lol can't wait so we got that coming down the pike is billy sheehan the hardest working man in show business what is going on

He might be.

I always joke he's going after his drummer in which band? Oh, Mike Portnoy.

Dennis Chambers, who's the drummer of both bands, he's a phenomenal drummer.

And the guitarist, what's his name again, Dave?

Eric Gales.

Making a new record with him.

I've got Eric Gales coming in this weekend, gonna record with him.

Oh, wow.

Fantastic.

Um, and then it just becomes another thing that kind of looks good on paper, is on the, you know, behind me over here and whatever.

You know, [laughs] and, and, and I don't self-deprecate, but I'm really about what am I doing right now.

Like, I'm really looking forward to cutting some Eric Gales guitar.

Hell yeah.

And he says, okay, you can do Parchment Farm.

I think I did one other one, and then I also did the song with Eric Gales.

Now, we did a live show to commemorate the release of this record near Chicago in the Arcata Theater in St. Charles.

And I'd known about Eric Gales, but not that much.

It's Snow Ledge.

I heard him since a hot blues player.

Cause the, the sound, I don't know if, if they beefed up the sound Saturday or not, but it seemed, I mean, it was, or it could be just the air, but it sounded really good.

Um, well here's my the i'll tell you the reason why we do it when i started it was i think it was all original i think i did do tennessee did but um and we did what we did and the numbers were okay compared to what they'd been doing everybody was sort of happy and um Then another year comes along, and I do things like Shovels and Rope and Eric Gales, and these are great shows.
