Eric, what was it like when you got the call, first time, we want you in the Coral Reefer Band?

He called me, I was in the middle of a session, he goes, hey, actually he left a message and I called him back.

He goes, hey, we need to, are you available to fill in for Ralph McDonald who is having some health problems? And I thought I was gonna go down for two weeks, rehearse and play five shows.

And so my mindset was, two weeks in and out and Ralph continued to have health problems so every every month Mac's going hey what are you doing in June hey what are you doing in July and it just kept going on unfortunately for Ralph but by the end of the year Ralph had passed away and they asked me to stay on but it was an amazing I spent a month and a half learning about 40 songs, studying online videos, listening to all the concerts.

So I had a pretty good idea of what I was getting into, but it was great.

I mean, couldn't have been more receptive and kind.
