She was a 23-year-old named Khadija O, originally from Algeria but living about 170 miles from Ingolstadt, in the small town of Eppingen.

She and Sharaban weren't related.

In fact, they had no evident connection at all.

Inside it was an Iraqi passport and enough cash to get her out of Germany entirely, if she ever needed an escape route.

She left the suitcase with Shakir to hold on to.

On August 16th, the two of them traveled in Sharban's Mercedes from Ingolstadt to Eppingen.

They picked up Khadija at her home, telling her they were taking her to the salon appointment.
