It's not like Sig and the fucking, you know, XM5, 264 Fury, or their fuck-ass EOTech, their $4,000 EOTech.

There's no contract making FN price those guns.

I thought it was Vortex.

What I'm talking about is the Sig Romeo...

It's called the 8T or something.

It looks like an EOTech and it costs $4,000 a piece.

And they have to sell it to that for the civilian market so they can prove to the government that's how much it costs to make.

That's $400 you could've put into a better red dot.

So instead of getting, like, the v- the bare bones Vortex Crossfire II red dot or something, you could've gotten an EOTech or an LP1 from Lead and Steel or something better from Holosun or from Sig.

You know what I'm saying? So it, it's about where you, you kinda appropriate the money and what you do with it.

Uh, or that's, that's $400 worth of ammunition.

You have better options.

There's aftermarket support.

Your optics from companies like Aimpoint and EOTech and some of the SIG stuff, some of the Vortex stuff, some of the Holosun stuff, right? Uh, I will say the stuff from Lead And Steel because, A, they're friends of mine, but, B, I've ran that shit for a while, and I've had great experiences with it.

I beat the shit out of the LP1, and that thing has had zero issues.

That's how you know it's legitimate.

That's a joke in the EOTech sub.

If your EOTech starts a DLAM, it's like, that's how you know it's real.

Are the EOTechs made in China now?

No, they're still made in the States, but the way they make them so they're very durable is they can delaminate versus like the knockoffs don't have the dual layer so they can break, but they won't delaminate.

It shoots incredibly flat, and I just wanna dump a whole ton of money into it, so I want a really nice optic setup for it, so I'm thinking Nightforce.

But I just can't get away, I've trained so much with the EOTech and flip-up magnifier that I keep on [laughs] coming back to it.

Their M4s, their AR-15s, do not look like all of the gadgets and stuff that people put on them for home defense.

They went to using EOTechs and Trijicons for scopes, which is heads above in a combat situation to have to look them down.

Peep sights, great.

Some of them may actually have a flashlight if they're on a breaching team.

So one of the things that I did yesterday was I took out my Canik Mete.

My Mete SFT has the EOTech closed emitter, the CE, on it with the donut.

And I was, I was working on some, some steel and some moving and so forth.

And, and, uh, one thing that I've really noticed is that when I try and push to go a little more, uh, as long as you've got, I've had, I had a few times where I had that little quick epiphany, like that wasn't a perfect sight picture, but part of the moon was on the target and I got the ding, you know? Yep.

because they do the same thing when it's like this, but then it's a little bit different once it gets put in this guy.

Yeah.

Now, one question, or not question, a conversation that Jared and I had, because I also had a rifle out there with an EOTech EXPS reticle on it, and is whether or not what are the chances that EOTech...
