Professor Carneiro

earned her BS in environmental engineering from Universidade Tiradentes in Brazil and her PhD in chemical engineering from Wayne State University, where she worked with Professor Rhonda Nicola.

She subsequently completed postdoctoral research at Georgia Tech with Professor Christopher Jones.

Since joining Columbia in 2023, she has been named a SILOG fellow in both negative emissions science and sustainable minerals, metals, and materials.

And I started my undergraduate studies in environmental engineering.

And then there, like an environmental engineer at the time, I don't know right now, but at the time there was no environmental engineer teaching that, right? It's either civil engineer or chemical engineer.

Dr. Anne Goodchild is a professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Washington and an internationally recognized expert in freight logistics and sustainable supply chains.

She is the founder of the Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics Online Master's Degree Program and the Urban Freight Lab, pioneering public-private academic partnership that established the concept of the final 50 feet delivery.

Anne has published more than 100 academic papers and earned multiple prestigious awards for her contributions to research, education, and industry integration.

2009-2010, she worked as a research assistant at the university's Earth Institute.

Talady earned a B.S., Environmental Engineering, Northwestern University, 2005-2009.

For 16 months, while a student, she worked as a support staff, at the university's Information Technology Center, 2005-2007.

Solar Geoengineering, which is the focus of Telady's non-profit, is a strategy to reflect sunlight away and cool the earth.
