Environment Oregon

We turn now to a new effort to collect information about the impact that roads have on wildlife.

A nonprofit called Environment Oregon Research and Policy Center is asking volunteers all around the state to take pictures of animals they see along the road.

It might mean a live elk munching on grass or a dead possum on the shoulder of a country highway.

Volunteers have from tomorrow through Sunday the 25th to take their pictures and to upload them using an app.

Thank you so much for having me.

It was really great.

Justin Boyles, conservation advocate at the Environment Oregon Research and Policy Center.
