English Springer Spaniel

Year after.

The other one was 2007, wasn't it? So a woman noticed two strange orange balls hovering in her back garden, and her springer spaniel apparently behaved unusually and ran back into the house.

The woman followed, locked the door, and understandably became worried about whatever she'd just seen, so she contacted the UFO hotline, but she had one particularly pressing concern.

According to the National Archives summary, she wanted to know, one, what did these things want, and two, could she and her dog have been contaminated?

Um, but the important part is that this wasn't something somebody invented years later for a paranormal book.

This, her concern actually appears in the released Ministry of Defense material.

Somewhere in the archives of the British government is essentially the question, have aliens contaminated my Springer Spaniel?

Beautiful.

I was like, "You're right.

That was a huge fail." [laughs] So English Setters are believed to be crosses of old Spaniels and Pointer breeds, probably a cross of the Spanish Pointer, Large Water Spaniel, and Springer Spaniel.

At the time, they were known as a Setting Spaniel.

He also launched his own local Pheasants Forever chapter and serves currently as its secretary.

And I'm thinking like if you're pheasant hunting with labs, I'm thinking like a frozen cattail slew in South Dakota that they're just like going to steamroll basically and flush the birds out.

My first inclination is that probably the springers may be a little more... they're, they're obviously not as big.

So it makes, it leads me to questions like, well, is, is that style maybe a little bit different where it's almost more like hunting with a, a bigger cocker spaniel or something like that, you know? So anyway, yeah, enough of me talking like what, what's, what's something with a springer spaniels like?

Yeah.

Really?

Really? We had an English Springer Spaniel, and we would bring him to the nursing home, and my dad would see the dog, and he'd say, Gunner, come.

And instead of addressing what the dog's issues is, they've just suppressed the dog, basically.

There was one the other day I saw, and it was a Springer Spaniel pulling on the lead.

And any Springer Spaniels out there...

That's what they do.

That's normal.

You got so many dogs, I'm starting to lose count.

Five short hairs, a Springer Spaniel, a Brittany Spaniel, a Red Fox Lab, and a Wired Hair Griffon.

So a lot of different breeds in there.

So a lot of my time is spent with them, obviously, because one, it's what I want to do.

And then you got Clyde.

Clyde's that griff who's a little goofy and, you know, lacks a day's goal and kind of, yeah, just kind of pitter-pat through the field and then he'll stick, which is great.

And then we have Daisy, who's our Springer Spaniel.

She was trained in the past at Diamond Bird Dogs and her owner ended up passing away.

Shut the front door.

We missed Springer Spaniel.

That's it.

How about that? My new little puppy.

Her name is Larky.

So I have English Springer Spaniels.

This is actually our fifth one.

And we kind of got, you know, we knew it was coming sometime, but we did it, called Tuesday, went and picked it up Wednesday.
