Um, the Sierra Club has shrunk pretty dramatically.

Greenpeace is on its heels because of this lawsuit that we covered in the, the series Slapped!, filed by Energy Transfer-

Yeah

... um, has just decimated their ability.

So Dril just put out this podcast that I hosted and reported called The Propagandist.

It's based on over 100 pages of public records from this private security company that was hired by the parent company of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

So that company is Energy Transfer, and you'll remember in 2016 and 2017, indigenous people from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe led a movement to stop that pipeline's construction, largely on the grounds of wanting to protect their water.

Also, they were concerned about sacred sites, treaty rights, and, you know, this global movement kind of mobilized behind the tribe, also on the grounds of, you know, slowing the climate crisis.

The deal values the company at $23 billion.

And Pipeline Giant Energy Transfer is reportedly planning to move its primary listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange.

Transfer is worth roughly $75 billion and would be the biggest company so far to swap its primary listing location to Texas from New York.

Nike is reportedly trying to reassure investors and its own employees about the future of its business ahead of its removal from the S&P 100 index for the first time in 18 years.

It's everything, said Marshall McCrea.

It's hard not to be bullish on natural gas growth over the next 10 to 15 years.

Reciprocating engine sales are anticipated to increase driven by strong demand in gas compression applications, said Joe Creed, chair and CEO of Caterpillar during the company's Q2 2026 earnings call.

Greenpeace and others say these are strategic lawsuits against public participation, or SLAPP suits, aimed at stifling dissent.

One was dismissed, but the other suit, which was brought by Energy Transfer, the company that built the Dakota Access Pipeline, went ahead, and in March of last year, a jury in North Dakota awarded a $667 million judgment against Greenpeace.

A judge later reduced the amount to only $345 million.

Greenpeace defendants are still awaiting a decision on their request for a new trial.

So they go through and try to find anybody that in any way participated, and they add you.

So it is, um, chilling in a lot of ways, but I'm encouraging Greenpeace to reframe it, is, um, Greenpeace is a 501[c][3] and a 501[c][4].

The only thing that Energy Transfers can take away from them is their bank account and their corporate structure.

That's the least valuable asset Greenpeace has.

This lifts the pipeline's total capacity to 2.6 BCF per day and has helped the Waha hub recover from negative prices, though it has not fully resolved Permian takeaway constraints.

Energy Transfers' Hugh Brinson Pipeline is starting to ramp up flows to northeast Texas.

It will eventually have a capacity of 2.2 BCF per day.

The Blackcomb Pipeline is set to enter service later this year, providing an extra 2.5 BCF per day of takeaway to Agua Dulce, and the planned 2.4 BCF per day traverse pipeline would provide onward access from Agua Dulce to Katy slash Houston in 2027.
