Emmett Bork

So kudos to Jacob Harris.

And he was a guy that, you know, we talked a lot about Emmett Bork.

We talked a lot about Stack.

But we knew Harris was going to be a key part of what we were doing here.

And he had three catches for 89 yards last week, and they have, definitely have a growing connection.

Emmett Bork from the tight end position also scored a touchdown for Wisconsin.

But Harris, the one other thing about him is he really proved to be a dominant force in the run game as a blocker.

He was the guy who was sealing the edge for Joseph on a lot of these runs, especially on his touchdown run, and some of the other bigger runs for the Wisconsin tailbacks as well.

Who's, uh, who makes you laugh? Like who's the funny guy?

Uh, I feel like if you asked everybody in the room, they'd have the same answer and it's going to be Emmett Bork.

Okay.

Um, that guy is, uh, hilarious he is a character um there there are some things that that he says and does that is just like you know this guy is he can't be a real person like um kind of kind of the one of the things that was a bit of a culture shock not really but you know i had never been around the wisconsin accent sure

um and so i'm trying to describe how he sounds like to my parents

yeah

and um i was like it's almost like a canadian surfer if you can and so edmund is hilarious i love that guy he's my lifting partner so you know we've gotten closer uh since uh since i've been here uh but he is he is something else man he's hilarious Never a bad day when Emmett Bork is in the room.

Oh, that's really cool.

They got to find ways to get him the ball more.

And I think we've talked so much about Emmett Bork and the upside and what the coaches think of him and what he could potentially be.

Like Jacob Harris is really good.

Incredible hands that one handed catch in the rain on the sideline.

So they knew they needed some quality play out of the tight ends.

And we also saw that from Emmett Bork late with the seven yard touchdown catch.

Yeah.

Especially, I think...

Jacob Harris and Emmett Bork.

I think both those guys have more to offer than what we've seen here so far.

So I guess we'll see how that looks.

I don't know that we even saw much of Emmett Bork yesterday.

Did we see Emmett Bork at all

Not really.

I think they're going to try to put him in one-on-ones against Kevin Haywood to test Haywood a little bit.

uh in this one so i'm curious to see how haywood holds up against him i'm also curious to see are they gonna still try to lean more into that left side of the offensive line or are they gonna you know spread it out a little bit more maybe try to get a little bit more going maybe outside zone sort of there on the right hand side of the offensive line as well i think the other thing that i kind of want to see is are they able to get the tight ends involved a little bit more right we had Emmett Bork almost had a really nice play there in the end zone, but was just out of bounds on that one catch.

I want to see him and some of these other tight ends contribute a little bit more to show a more diverse offense, especially as teams are getting more tape on Wisconsin.

And so they just have to think more about, oh, we also have to keep this guy in mind, have to keep this guy in mind.

We saw these tight ends, especially I'd probably say midpoint of fall camp, play a pretty big role.

I mean, you got Jacob Harris from the portal who was pretty highly coveted as a pass catcher.

You mentioned Emmett Bork.

I think Grant Steck, he maybe shines the most as a blocker, but he certainly a receiving threat from what we saw yesterday.
