Everybody knew that [laughs] the shelves were empty.

We didn't get cheaper products.

It was just, you know...

And, and everybody knew that the government was pretty much using those controlled prices to calculate the, the, the consumer price index, but nobody could actually buy those products.

Uh, and then you see MM- the new generation of MMTers saying price controls, but also currency exchange controls, right? When I left Argentina in 2014, um, there were capital controls, right? So you couldn't buy foreign currency, and, um, there was a whole gigantic black market of currency.
