Emma Scott

So what do they do now? What is like phase two of secret North Koreans working at American companies?

Yeah, so over the past year, my colleagues, Emma, Bob, and I have been looking at this North Korean IT work problem from a broader lens.

And we saw just this one group alone applying to companies across basically any industry that you can think of.

Banks and financial institutions, tech companies, insurance providers, they're applying virtually everywhere.

Okay, so tell me about how you began to learn about face-to-face.

Like, what was your window into this world that we would assume we would never get a window into?

Yeah, so I love my job at The Wall Street Journal because one, I mean, for many reasons, but like one of my first days on the job, my editor, Rob, he introduces me to Emma Scott, which is, you know, she's a really fantastic video reporter.

She had come into possession of a bunch of data that came from a computer that was used by a North Korean cell.

Explain to the good people listening at home who you are and what you do.

I am Emma Scott.

I have been part of the 24-7 prayer team now for three years and have the privilege of being part of the prayer spaces and skills team, which I think is the best job in the world.

And yeah, what else would you like to know? I'm married.
