Deuteronomy chapter 2 mentions a few tribes of unusually large people called the Rephaim.

The text says, like the Anakim, they are usually reckoned as Rephaim, though the Moabites call them Emim.

Deuteronomy chapter 3 also mentions a King Og of Bashan, a guy with a really big bed.

Now, only King Og of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaim.

That's why the mandate, because they're soulless, they're the progeny of fallen angels, and they're there.

And what's amazing, this is the seed war between on steroids, and the culmination, 400 years earlier, Abraham gets tapped out from your seat, all the nations of the earth will be blessed, and now we've got, what, 3 million people on the gates to the promised land, and you've got all these Nephilim tribes, the Anakim, the Zanzimim, the Emims, you know, The Nephilim, the Zanzimim.

I mean, they're all there.

They're all there.

So Nephilim is the large umbrella of this hybridized race, and Anakim were one of those tribes.

There was also the Emim, the Rephaim, the Zamzumim.

Deuteronomy 2 lays out several of these tribes.

So But Numbers 13 connects the sons of Anak, the Anakim, as Nephilim right there.

We just read it in Numbers 13.33. Now, follow the trail I want to lay out.

Deuteronomy 2 tells us about the Rephaim, the Emim, the Zanzumim.

Every single time Moses wants to communicate just how massive these clans were, he compares them to Anakim.

He says that the Emim were as tall as the Anakim.

So you think, here's the Nephilim, but you have other tribes, the Anakim, we see that in Numbers 13, 33, come from the Nephilim.

We go to Deuteronomy 2 and 3, you have the Zamzumim, the Emim, you have Horites, you have several others that appear, especially in Genesis 15 as well.

But at the end of the day, we have Goliath, right? So the question is, we have the families of these Anakim, like the children of Anak.

Obviously, he fathered them.

I mean, you want to talk about cosmic stuff going on here.

And then in the land of Canaan are the tribes of the Nephilim.

the Anakim, the Zanzimim, the Emims, the Rephaim, the Nephilim, they're all there.

The Horites, the Perizzites, they're all there in the Promised Land.

What we see at this point is the two sides, the seed war, in full-blown manifestation.

Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.

And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim, and the Horites in their Mount Seir unto El Paran, which is by the wilderness.

And they returned and came to En Mishpat, which is in Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, which dwell in Hazezon Tamar.

And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, the same as Zoar.
