The sanctions, which will ban settlement goods, were announced in partnership with France and Canada, and Labour's Dame Emily Thornberry, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, says it's about time.

I'm delighted that we've finally decided to do the right thing on this, but we stop all trade with the occupied territories, which the Israeli government is deliberately building on as fast as it can in order to try to, as to use their own words, "snuff out any chance of a Palestinian state."

The reaction from Israel was immediate and furious with Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar accusing Miliband of spreading an outrageous lie and announcing a series of measures in retaliation, including the closure of the UK's consulate in East Jerusalem.

So if the Prime Minister is going to be consistent, is it time to start putting more migrants into these seats too? Well, tonight we also wanted to look into some of these particular Labour Party MPs.

One of the MPs on the list is Emily Thornberry.

We allowed them to demonise migrants and refugees, to cast them as the enemy, and that was wrong.

It was wrong not to be brave and not to make the positive case for migration, because there is one.

I think people like Diane Abbott, certainly Jeremy Corbyn, and some of the others you listed, probably Emily Thornberry, I'm not so sure about her.

I'm so very happy to finally see a British government, a Labour British government, finally doing the right thing and taking a strong stance against the illegal building of settlements in the occupied territories of Palestine.
