Emily Mann

And I was just like, oh, okay.

And then I got to like meet Stephen Schwartz, sit in something on Emily Mann.

And I remembered sitting in to how to write a 10 minute play.

And I can't remember, unfortunately, who was teaching that, but it really had a profound effect on, there's a story in your mind, in your voice, and it may seem obvious because your voice is always in your head that other people haven't heard your voice.

Thank you.

Hi there, this is Brett Cullum, and Cypress Stage is launching its inaugural season with Emily Mann's play, Gloria, A Life.

And it is running from October 2nd through the 18th, and we get Deborah Hope not starring in the show, but directing it, which is such a switch.

It's just so awesome because Debra really is one of Houston's most notable leading ladies.

I'm sure.

But tell me about this play, Gloria Alife.

Emily Mann, I've heard some interesting things about it.

Tell me what it's like, what it's kind of doing.
