So what did you learn about Lord Dalhousie, who was a Scot, and how Ottawans came to pronounce his name Dalhousie?

He likely pronounced it Dalhousie because he was an upper-class individual, and the upper-class pronunciation was Dalhousie.

She is an Olympian in U.S. women's rowing.
