Emerald Weapon

Yeah, if you dive into the Corele region close to the desert, Ruby Weapon is just there, large, menacing, and just walking around.

It was absolutely, uh, crazy to witness that, and I'm sure that Emerald Weapon is probably doing the same thing in the Meridian Ocean, and Ultima Weapon wherever Ultima Weapon, uh, is.

I believe it just roams the sky.

Crazy that they're actually gonna have the weapons roam the map while you go do all the side content and main content before you're ready to fight them, uh, and whatnot.

We've gotten a better look at Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon and just all those cool dudes.

Got a pretty good look at the jobs and how those work out.

We can fight on Chocoback, which I'm actually excited for.

I got a bunch of super weapons.

I tried to get Emerald Weapon on the loop so that it would die while we were on the show.

But we're still too weak to do that.

Hold on.

If it's not, if it's not, you know, Ruby weapon, I hope they do it with something else.

Um, but they also showed up Emerald weapon, which I had hypothesized before.

Like, how did they do that? And they show it here.

Like you were watching the trailer now and you get to see Emerald weapon underwater.

Like you fight him with a submarine at first and then you like go in and then actually like have to fight him on foot essentially.

That's kind of crazy.

Maybe.

maybe I just remember getting hung up on emerald weapon emerald was the one that you experienced through the submarine and you like you had to have knights of the round to like defeat it otherwise you got absolutely fucked on the first turn literally just couldn't stand up to it But cool.

I'm glad to see that they're sort of like bringing in the elements of the weapons into the world and seeing like that this is the world fighting back and developing almost like the lore of the weapons even a little bit more.

Uh, they showed off the weapons, like Emerald Weapon.

We- yeah, we'd seen them before technically

Yeah, we saw what looked like, uh, you were piloting the airship what we've seen before.

In the reveal trailer, we s- they revealed you're gonna fly the Highwind, the airship, and it looked like you were piloting it while weapons were in the air.

There was also an underwater segment when you're in the submarine, and Emerald Weapon is, like, wreaking havoc, and you're in the s- your submarine.

So I don't know if that's actual combat combat or something else because we don't see, like, any, like, gameplay, like, looking segments where you're fighting.

Still locked for spring 2027, with a day one Switch 2 launch that Rebirth never got.

The trailer packs some genuinely big moments, including a submarine battle against Emerald Weapon.

But away from the stage, the game picked up a pending mature 17 plus rating.

Our theory is that Cloud's grip on reality finally slips all the way, and this time the story actually goes sideways with it.
