Emerald Cruises

Close your eyes, picture the Rhine, picture mountains and castles and vineyards, and that is exactly what you're going to see on this river cruise.

Today, we are talking about a recent river cruise that I did aboard the Emerald Astra, which is a brand new ship on the Rhine.

And the Moselle.

And we touched on four different countries, Switzerland, France, Germany, and Holland.

What I always do on any cruise, take my suitcase, take everything out of the suitcase.

put it in the shelves, hang my shirts up, whatever, and then you just realize it brings home the reality that you don't have to sleep in a different bed for the next 7, 10, 20 nights, no matter how long the cruise is, because the ship moves and delivers you to a brand new destination every day.

And that's true of all river cruises, including this one on the Emerald Astra cruise.

Yeah.

I mean, in some places there is no water in the Rhine River.

So there was a bunch of recalculations by Emerald Cruises.

Now, this is my first time on Emerald Cruise.

I would absolutely travel them again.

So you Google European river cruise, and suddenly you've got 5,000 million responses.

[laughs] I don't know, like a bazillion responses, and there's Viking, and AmaWaterways, and Avalon, and Scenic, and Emerald, and Unworld, and Tau, and every single one of them are gonna tell you that they're amazing.

And how are you supposed to know which one is actually right for you?

The answer's not gonna be who sent you the most mail or who you've seen the most commercials for.

I think AmaWaterways is totally different than Viking
