Elwha River

You don't know how a fish is sensing, thinking, feeling about it.

And to see how fast fish have responded on the Elwha and on the Klamath and on your projects, it's phenomenal.

But also, I can't remember the term for it, but there's the river mapping they're doing with aerial imagery where they can trace the lifespan of the shifting riverbeds.

And over in the Wallau is where it's kind of my home country, even though I never lived there.

That's pretty cool when you get to do that.

When you are involved in a big conservation project, For decades, they tried to remove the dams from the Elwha River in Olympic National Park.

They were put in before it became a national park, and they just couldn't get rid of them.

There were dams in the park.
