Elvis on Tour

we make our final stop in 1972.

We land in the United States when Elvis on tour, quote, quote, opened, which is a concert film documenting Elvis Presley's performances during his tour of the country.

If you imagine it, it's kind of like the recent Michael Jackson movie.

Elvis on tour gave audiences a chance to experience parts of Elvis's touring performances on screen, bringing his music and stage presence to cinema audiences.

And there we have it.

our somewhat bumpy journey has come to an end we've gone from a civil war over the english throne to a ship designed for a single voyage the departure of an australian troop during world war one and the reorganization of indian states and lastly a concert film featuring elvis presley We've seen different places, different people, and different moments in history, and all of them have been recorded for others to discover.

Well, the King is back on tour.

The Parks Elvis Festival returns from Wednesday 6th to Sunday 10th of January 2027 under the theme Elvis on Tour with the world's largest celebration of the one and only King outside Memphis set to bring 200 plus events and 30,000 visitors from across Australia and around the world to New South Wales Central West.

Mark Andrew is the record holder for for most feature artist headline shows at the Parks Elvis Festival.

I think it's six.

And here we are so many years later.

and pulling in something like 30,000 people worldwide.

Well, as you said, so many years later, 34th year this year, the theme's Elvis on tour, which I think when you look at a lot of the classic footage on YouTube now, a lot of it that you see is him on tour and performing in various places around the States specifically, obviously.

But what makes bringing Elvis to life on stage for you in front of up to 30,000 people so special?

No, I haven't.

So I was thinking about this, and I just feel like I want to film, I wanna film the moment when you go up those-

Yeah

... you know, you go up to the gates the first time you go in.

Yeah

...

I, again, can't announce anything, like, officially, but I, there's someone that I know that's reached out and said it would be nice if they could be there to film it in some way.

Um-
