EllisDon Corporation

Completion is expected in late twenty twenty-eight.

Correctional Service Canada has selected EllisDon Corporation to design and build a new one hundred and fifty-five-bed health center on the grounds of the Dorchester Penitentiary in New Brunswick.

The standalone facility will provide bilingual healthcare services for federally incarcerated individuals with enhanced physical and mental health needs.

The medium- and minimum-security Dorchester facility is the second oldest operating prison in Canada, with capacity for seven hundred and forty-four inmates.

But there is a gap between wanting sustainability and actually making project decisions that support it.

Joining us today are Preston Welker, PMP, who is the Global Climate Program and Operations Lead at The Nature Conservancy, and Aiman Zaki, a certified sustainable project professional, PMP, and PMO project manager at EllisDon.

They both work in very different environments, Preston in global climate and conservation programs and Aiman in major construction projects.

But both navigate complex stakeholders, risk, and trade-offs like many of us project managers.
