well,
4:12
I think the first thing to say is that when I was a child, I absolutely loved nature.
4:14
You know, I was always climbing trees.
4:16
I was really on my hands and knees, overturning like bits of wood, looking at the bugs and stuff that are underneath that.
4:21
I always had a real fascination with the natural world.
4:24
But when you're at school or when you're a teenager and you go to career fair, people come in, nobody tells you that there is a potential career path within nature recovery and conservation.
4:37
I did not know that was even a pathway that existed.
9:17
um so yeah do you want to start telling everyone a bit about I mean beavers and what they do um I really want you to tell them about the asbo beavers as well when you when you get to that point because I love that so much

Newton works for a conservation group that uses beavers as anti-flood engineers.
2:03
The beavers have come in and they've actually put this dam in, and that has now created this beaver pond, which is just holding water here, stopping flood risk from further downstream.

How cool is this, right? McDonald's, retail park, busy road of sirens, and then here we have a family of beavers thriving, and they are doing amazing things.
