It was good.

Like I said, we drove through Ellicottville.

We went down for the old Penn State Whiteout game.

Yeah.

Yeah.

That was a cool, this place, uh, Ellicottville's, like, a big skiing, uh, resort, uh, thing in the winter.

So my wife snowboarded a lot, you know, in, in her 20s, 30s, and 40s.

And so, and actually when we were dating, she We all went up to Ellicottville, and she would snowboard, and they would ski.

My brother and his family have, uh, have skied there for, for years, since, uh, my nieces were really small.

Uh, skiing was, for me, it was a little bit, I think, off my list.

My cup is absolutely overflowing.

My husband and I took our son to Ellicottville, New York, which is this gorgeous little ski town in the mountains of western New York, upstate in the Southern Tier, and it is a really, really special place for us because almost 10 years ago when my husband and I first met, we decided it would be a great idea to buy some land together.

Two entrepreneurs, two dreamers, two visionaries.

We weren't engaged, we weren't married.

Are, are we 0 and 5 to start? Yeah.

Yeah, you know, I, 'cause I just got back from Ellicottville this weekend.

Had, had a great time at Fall Fest.

Um, and they just got outshot like 16 to 1 by the Bruins and scored their only goal on a shot they didn't even try to score from Jason Zucker, and Josh Norris might be gone for a few month.

Ellicottville did not have any, they did not have the game on.

I saw one bar that had a game on.

Randolph Football Ranked No. 6 in Class D Article by Matt Spillman Randolph remained the highest-ranked local team as the New York State Sports Writers Association released its weekly football rankings Wednesday.

The No. 6 Cardinals, 4-1, 2-0 in Section 6 Class D, beat Silver Creek Forestville 42-0 last Friday and will take on Franklinville-Ellicottville this Friday in Franklinville.

In Class C, Falconer-Cassadaga Valley-Maple Grove is No. 20, up from being an honorable mention selection a week ago, while Chautauqua Lake-Westfield-Brockton and Clymer-Sherman-Panama remained honorable mentions.

The Herd, 4-1, 3-0 in Section 6 Class C South, and the Eagles, 3-2, 2-1 Section 6 Class C South, will face off Friday night in Mayville, while the Wolfpack, 4-1, 3-1 in Section 6 Class C South, will host Cattaraugus-Little Valley on Saturday in Clymer.

But it was beautiful.

We have, a- Amy and I, my wife, uh, we have a, uh, a ski house in Ellicottville, New York, and they wanted to go up there this past weekend, so we met them up there.

I never go up there during the summer, but it is awesome up there.
