mean, what's happened to the study of literature? I mean, I went to university.

It was hard.

What I'm talking about there is the kind of endless loops that you can get into.

And I was sort of starting to become very critical of literature in the university as a, I don't know that it's the best way to come to appreciate literature.

And so what Pip does when she sort of drops out, she realizes that what's happening inside the university, and this is a critique from Horkheimer actually.

So I was educated enough to be able to read Horkheimer and critique the university afterwards.

So what's Sasha escaping from?

Yeah.

I think I had been writing a book that really didn't work.

And it was a, maybe it was too serious.

It was too close to my life.

Cause I've been doing, I've been like working at universities.

I've been doing a PhD.

And so my whole world had become really like really small and really surrounded by the university.

It makes people stop and think about our entire world, right? Like I love it.
