kind of each progressive season of Stranger New Worlds I'm like I still think season two Discovery Pike was the best Captain Pike but I might be wrong I might be wrong

Ellen DanielsGUEST
no I yeah season two Discovery like fantastic and so I am a leadership consultant but I'm a leadership consultant with a twist so I use science fiction as case studies not like a lot of people will be like oh look at this business person or Yeah, they get inspiring talks from Olympic athletes.

Ellen DanielsGUEST
I go to businesses and I talk about science fiction leaders and Pike is one I love to talk about because in season two of discovery from the get go, you know, he's different.

Ellen DanielsGUEST
So he comes in and, you know, just from when he comes onto the bridge of discovery, he says, introduce yourselves, forget your ranks, whatever he says, like how many leaders, like, you know, even in companies how many of the top leaders would come in and be like I don't care what you do you know tell me about who you are very few and I think that sets the scene for Pike I'd agree with you I think he's very up and down in Strange New Worlds season one I think he would I thought he was really good season two and three lost his way somewhat as a captain like I like how collaborative he is.

Ellen DanielsGUEST
Again, there's a fantastic scene in Discovery where he says to Michael, he's like, I don't mind dissent.

Who would you recommend this book for? Do you think it's beneficial for everyone or do you feel like you kind of need to be in an academic mindset to enjoy the book?
