Ellen Brody

It's very good.

We might move on to the next character then is Ellen Brody.

Yeah.

Who was played by Lorraine Gary, who is really interesting to me because she remarried to a guy named Sidney Scheinberg, who is credited with discovering Steven Spielberg.

This was back in 2018, and that was surreal.

We talked about the book, right? Obviously, in the book, Hooper knew Ellen Brody from back in the day.

I believe it was in high school.

Well, in the book, there's an affair that goes on during all this.

He wasn't all-knowing.

And it makes sense that people don't learn their lessons, at least for the second one, right? If they kept doing the same story in three and four, that'd be a problem.

I think this was the perfect time to show Mayor Vaughn and the city and that Len Peterson guy that was hitting on Ellen Brody, which I didn't like at all, but shout out to Ellen Brody.

But, you know, I felt that these people still didn't learn a lesson.

Their banter and the subtle threats on the part of Vaughn don't ring of a new relationship.

The comment about the sunrise and we bought the house in the fall by Ellen also implies they've been living there since the previous fall.

Why not just say, 'Well, we just moved in'? How would we know any different? I could go, I could go on, but these are a few examples, uh, to lead me to believe that Brody's moved there the previous fall.

I will concede that Brody might only be officially in the job for a few weeks, your PTO theory for, uh, personal time off, uh, theory from his NYPD days.

It's very important that we are all know-- w- that we all understand that the Brodys are brand new to the island, as in they just moved their family b- family there.

They have already been to the island before, which we established before.

So Tim's talking about, uh, minute number five, Jaws Obsession 94, Episode 94, the EJU Minute Number 5, and, uh, that was Waking Up With Ellen and Martin Brody on Friday, June 27th, 1974 at 6:30 AM, an extreme, an extreme look into the dialogue and setting.

Okay, so that minute number five is, is kind of what we're, we're talking about here.
