Ella Lily Hyland

And Maureen's, like, like, has a great, great eye for talent.

So she'd, um, Ella Lilly Hyland, she showed me a video of her, um, from, like, a play she'd written and starred in from Carlow Arts Festival from a few years back, and she was saying, "She's your woman." And I went, "Yeah." And then that wasn't, that wasn't a hard sell.

Everybody saw that straightaway.

And then, you know, with the other cast, it was, there was, like, the cast is pretty good.

But I think where this series really shines is in the performances.

Ella Lilly Hyland, who plays the young nurse, Bridget, is absolutely brilliant in this.

Like, her star is totally ascending after a role.

She's been in the likes of, um, Black Doves with Keira Knightley.

And, you know, I mean, obviously Stuart is kind of the most beloved writer of Irish TV drama, I guess, after Love Hate.

Ella Lily Hyland is a, you know, is a star on the absolute rise.

She stole Black Doves 2.

She was so brilliant in Towards Zero and in The 15 Love and so on.

Yeah, absolutely.

And there's a kind of a road movie vibe to it at times that I really liked as well.

And just in terms of Ella Lily Hyland and Casey Walsh, like they're that beating heart of it.

And there's a great chemistry there.

Maybe should be committed.

Ella Lily Hyland plays Bridget.

And she's kind of in the duo, isn't she, with Casey Walsh, the character of Paul, Bridget and Paul.

And she's using her real Carlo accent, by the way.

but that still feels like it's from a real place.

So part of that is about the characters and certainly the performances, particularly from Ella Lily Hyland.

What a cast

you have.
