Elizabethtown Community and Technical College

And it's going to get worse after the end of December is what my expectation would be with the closure that we covered a couple of weeks ago.

About this time yesterday, we were talking about ECTC Litchfield.

And also about this time yesterday, they announced that 12 students from Grayson County were getting over $20,000 in scholarships.

In total, ECTC gave out 113 students received $209,000 for the 26-27 school year.

But Grayson Countians were $22,000.

You can read all their names online.

Yeah.

Uh, ECTC is having their Spooktacular.

Mm-hmm.

That's not actually on Halloween.

But yeah, we're gonna learn about machining at the technology center, which is something that, you know, I don't, I don't know a ton about, uh, so it's interesting.

And, uh, yeah, so that'll be tonight during halftime for our Cougars in the Classroom segment, uh, brought to you in part by ECTC Litchfield, right?

Yeah, yeah.

Thanks to them for, uh, helping power that.

Seven eight two twenty ten, that would be the number for, uh, KSP.

Three Grayson County residents are furthering their education at ECTC's, uh, Selective Administ-- Admission Respiratory Care program.

Fourteen total students from the region are, are being admitted to the prestigious program.

After they complete prerequisite courses, the students apply to the eighteen-month program, which includes specialized courses and hands-on clinical practice.

So that arrest was made.

ECTC Litchfield made an announcement last week that they are welcoming Jennifer Newton to their advancement team as donor relations officer, strengthening the college's efforts to engage alumni, employers, donors, and community partners throughout its service region.

Of course, Jennifer, no stranger to our community and our area.

And so she will be working with ECTC Litchfield, and I presume we'll be hearing more about that going forward.

Kentucky, the idea of needing a voter ID to vote in the Commonwealth, it's a good idea to have one.

And I'm not sure today whether you have to have one or not.
