Like it looked like a, a, a practice training day type of goal you give up

I think if they, if you have Lainey Rouse out there instead of Elizabeth Ball, I don't think Rouse gets dusted in the fashion that Ball did, um, by Kunananji that led to that goal.

And ultimately, I think that, that, that's like, that's one aspect of it, and I think Rouse, the way she played in the second half, um, pretty much earned her keep on the field in that spot.

Um, and a good U23 call-up.

some hope, but I think she's probably more of a defender, um, than anything.

But ever- in reality, I, I think it's probably, uh, it's probably Robinson and, and Sharples.

And I, I like the combo of Ball, uh, and, and Rob- and Sharples over the past few years, but I think- Robinson's come back really well after that knee injury and not, not just in like, oh, she's, she's healthy and fine.

I think her playing level has even stepped up a little bit, um, from what we saw, um, earlier in the year.

I can't, I'm not even sure if she's scoring the BSL goal.

She might've scored one this year finally, but like, obviously that is not what she is being asked to do in most situations, but Bay could sure use it because other than Rachel Kuninanji, who was given Elizabeth Ball all kinds of trouble throughout the game before Lainey Rouse subbed in and replaced her.

It was pretty much a complete and utter lack of offense from Bay.

I mean, obviously they scored a goal, but it was a weird one.

So good comeback from the current.

Again, Gabby Robinson returned from injury, so it was good to see her back out there playing some center back, pushed out Elizabeth Ball out to right back.

Again, it looked a little disjointed before it looked good.

I was just like, man, this team, what are they doing? Even Hopkins, who I knew was going to score a hat trick, I was like, she's not really having the best game at the beginning of the game.

If you look at where a lot of that XG comes from, it comes from set pieces.

So, obviously, Elizabeth Ball gets a goal off of a set piece.

And then, like, three of their other major XG shots are set piece shots from Ball or Sharples.

So, it's like, listen, when all your shots are coming from center backs, maybe, maybe not.

And then 56th minute, getting right back in it, 1-1 here.

Yeah, right place, right time, and Kansas City always on the wrong end of set pieces, recycled here obviously, but something bounces their way on a set piece

Think she made up for that Barbara Banda spin off the second goal there to get one back

So since Orlando last beat them in 2024, but now it's in danger because you come back into the second half and Banda right into the 53rd minute, just completely unbeaten.

He shows that she is unstoppable and easily goes around Elizabeth ball.

There's no other defender there to stop her.

And she just scores the brace.

And it's another like little brief scramble in the box.

Not as wild as the first half we saw.

And it was Elizabeth Ball who got beat by Banda just like 10 minutes ago or so.

And she just like pokes it in for the second goal of the night.
