So my last one is Penance by Eliza Clark, which I think is kind of in the same family with The God of the Woods.

Also a thriller.

Someone dies.

I still haven't read Boy Parts, but this would be my fave.

This is Victorian Psycho.

With boy parts by Elisa Clark, I think is the author's name.

Yeah, that sounds right.

But I haven't read that, so I wouldn't know.

Who are some of your favorite UK-based writers that you wish US readers could read?

I think US readers do read Eliza Clark, but I won't shut up about her.

I think her books are incredible.

She's a Northern writer like me.

What kind of stories?

I represent wonderful Eliza Clark, who is a writer.

She's London-based, but she's from the north of England and she wrote a book called Boy Parts, which was sort of very early in the, um, I suppose it's a sort of post Me Too feminist type of writing that is extremely smart and spiky and voice led and political and dark.
