Tell me about that.

Yeah.

Um, you know, I, I really grew up in retail.

Um, so I guess starting with GiftMeSoul, I have to work a bit backwards because when I was in high school, I worked part-time at a little store in the town of Rye, New York, and it was called Spangles, and that started my retail dreams.

And, um, it made me wanna be a buyer and wanna get into retail, and I went into college with that little dream in my heart.

And, um, it...

And when I graduated college, um, I pursued that, that dream a- and it led me into a world of, of buying.

What was the point? What, what was your s- last job, job in luxury? What were you doing? And I'm wondering, did you have an epiphany? Was there some life occurrence that happened? What, sort of, was the initial seed for change?

So, yeah.

Yeah, I like to think of it as being asleep and then being awake, I guess.

I love that.

Yeah, or being unconscious, I guess, and then becoming conscious.

You know, on paper, my life looked great.

I really had a lot compared to most people in the world.
