On top of Elihu's message to Job are three other friends who have taken far too long to say much too little to Job who could have taught them all.

And it was so, that after the Lord had spoken these words unto Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends, for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering, when my servant Job shall pray for you, for him will I accept, lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

So Eliphaz the Teminite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamithite went, and did according as the Lord commanded them, the Lord also accepted Job.

And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends, also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

by a host of false teachers like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, and a bunch of others of that ilk who have spewed that same nonsense that Eliphaz and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar have spewed to Job.

That has been around, and it is patently false.

And the case in point is Job himself.

Job has been saying, Where's the evidence? You've been saying I'm a bad person, I'm a wicked person, bring forth the evidence.

Like, what have I done specifically? So they're gonna get specific, even though they're wrong.

Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said, can a man be profitable to God, though he who is wise may be profitable to himself? Is it any pleasure to the Almighty that you are righteous? Or is it gain to him that you make your way blameless? Look, Job, God is not affected by your goodness, by your righteousness.

You're not affecting God.

We'll be dealing with this.

"Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sp- and s- uh, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

So that they sat down, uh, with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights.

Now, now I wanna show you this now.

So let's go back to verse number 11.

Now, I want you to see verse number 11, the motivation of these three men, uh, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, all these three men.

What is it that motivate these men to develop this good intention for their friend? Well, look in verse number 11.

The pebbles of the wadi were sweet to him, and every mortal will follow after him, and those before him are innumerable.

How then will you comfort me with your emptiness, and I have no rest at all from you? Now Eliphaz the Temanite said in reply, Is it not the Lord who teaches understanding and knowledge? For what does it matter to the Lord if you were blameless in your actions? Or is it an advantage that you will make your ways simple? Though he makes an account of you, will he reprove you, and will he go to trial with you? Is your evil not abundant, and are your sins not without number? Yes, you used to take your brothers in pledge for no reason, and took away the clothing of the naked.

Nor did you give water to the thirsty to drink, but withheld a morsel from the hungry.

And you made favorites of some, and settled them on the land.
