That was the trending topic that caught everyone's attention.

So what happened? On October 20th, the day before the Harper's Bazaar event, a well-known fashion blogger posted a cryptic message claiming that an actress would be wearing two haute couture gowns from Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad at the upcoming event.

The blogger described this as an unprecedented arrangement that broke the usual rules.

This post was subsequently deleted, but not before people started speculating about who the actress could be.

Enter Zhao Lusi.

She appeared at the Harper's Bazaar event wearing a dramatic Zuhair Murad Spring Summer 2026 couture gown.

Later, she wore an Elie Saab Fall Winter 2026 couture gown inside the venue.

The speculation online of an actress purchasing the gowns outright instead of working with the fashion brands seemed to have come true.

And her gorgeous, gorgeous yellow, I can't pronounce this fashion brand.

Can you do it for me? Elie Saab.

Okay, that is how I was going to pronounce it.

Again, I might have that wrong.

I mean, they look like a future community.

A beautiful Elie Saab gown.

Can I

say, with the fashion also, the tiaras, which is a big part of a state occasion, that tiara, the Queen Mary's lover's tiara, is one that famously Princess Diana used to favor and used to wear it quite a lot.

It was it was a fabulous evening.

Catherine looked amazing in this kind of brilliant Elie Saab dress.

St George's Hall you know the huge banqueting hall at Windsor Castle brilliant brilliant evening and I think it was important that Charles paid tribute to William there because we have not seen enough of that frankly we have not seen enough of it and then today at Aberfan obviously it was father and son Catherine wasn't there she was never supposed to be there she was never scheduled to be there they can't do everything you know so don't read anything into that but this was very important it was father and son there at this incredibly important moment we're going to get on to why it was so important to the queen in a bit but those of you who watch the the show the crown will will know a bit of this story I just want to say that whatever is going on between them personally and I do.

My sources have told me that the relationship, the personal relationship between them is very fraught.

Hermes is another great example, beautiful, classy, traditional clothing, no demonic creatures, obviously, on our screens, and they are also steadily growing with no end in sight.

Now my third and probably my favorite example of this, and hopefully the girls out there watching will appreciate this, is Elie Saab.

Their spring of 2027 collection that they just put on at Paris Fashion Week, it was pure beauty and femininity.

No disturbed models with canes and long COVID on display.

Best designer in the world.

And again, it is working.

Elie Saab is maintaining a 30% annual growth.
