Eli Morgan

He hasn't reached back for 98, 99, a hundred and two calendar years, I want to say.

So, uh, well maybe, maybe, uh, 14 15 months the last time they faced the yankees when he struck out judge um he reached back for 99 or 100 it was crazy um it's been a long time since he's done that and i don't think that that's made him like he's obviously a little more hittable when his stuff isn't at peak uh he has kind of fought it at times for his control command and that that's also very precarious for a guy who's who's got such potential to give up a gopher ball Yeah, he's no Eli Morgan in that respect, but he's he's still prone to it.

And I mean, Sabrowski can be too, but you just feel a little bit more comfortable with him because his track record of success when his stuff is going and he's finding locations is so good.

Yeah, he, it is, you got, I mean, that year that he was absolutely dominant, he had like a home run fly ball rate of 4.5, which wasn't really sustainable.

While we continue our roster recap, we talked about McArthur in the last half inning.

Next up is Eli Morgan, who pitched 22 games this year for Omaha, plus 16 for Kansas City.

SIGNED A MINOR LEAGUE DEAL WITH THE ROYALS IN THE OFF SEASON.

ADDED TO THE 40-MAN ROSTER RIGHT BEFORE OPENING DAY.

TWO-TWO IS DOWN AND AWAY FROM MCARTHUR, AND THE COUNT IS FULL.

THREE BALLS AND TWO STRIKES.

So Eli Morgan, who we had seen with Columbus, wound up pitching 22 games for Omaha, 16 for Kansas City.

The pitch.
