and they're kind of talking about what some of what we kind of unpacked at the end of the last episode which is like what just happened at the hospital, Billy and the Mind Flayer, they're building an army and that they're building it to stop Eleven, they've

learned.

And then suddenly it's like the lights start flickering and they hear these rustles outside and Will starts to go like, oh, he knows that we're here.

Yeah.

And honestly, that whole like that whole section is exciting because we start dropping in the information for everyone to know.

You know, with Eleven saying, yeah, Billy told me that, you know, we were in this house.

He told me that he was building this thing to stop me and he was going to kill every all of you.

I liked the episode for a couple things.

I did like the introduction of Elle and Max's relationship.

Especially after how it was in season two where it was just a parent beef on one side.

I did like that we got to see Elle act like a child, like a girl for once and not be in this kind of like...

this kind of atmosphere where she has to be secluded to rules of having to be home by this time or everything locked down.

She was free for once.

I did hate the Mike and Elle thing.

I feel like this is where they started to lose me as a shipper at that time because of this.

You think about the audience that we built as we did Stranger Things.

I go anywhere in the world and people know the relationship of Harper and Eleven.

Wait, I don't think anyone got along with David Harper.

I thought they had a feud during Stranger

Throws Nancy across the room.

And then Eleven shows up, obviously.

Our

queen.

Like whenever she's given the spotlight, she is going to use it for the better for all of us.

Yeah.

And yeah, Eleven just like kicks the shit out of this mind flayer, like smashes it on all four walls.

Yeah.

A hundred percent.

But as of right now, and I'm sorry, I'm freezing on Eleven's name.

Millie Bobby Brown? Millie Bobby Brown.

I'm sorry, but as of right now, Millie Bobby Brown has clearly had the biggest and most successful career out of anybody coming out of Stranger Things so far.

I'm not throwing away my second chance.

I should spy on him, says Will, and make sure that he's asleep right before we go.

Agreed, says Dustin.

Let's get into it.

We cut straight back into the action.

Mike, his body hits the floor from Eleven's perspective, and she starts to sprint towards Beckner.

who is on fire, right? I'm not sure that was remembered when we wrote this.

That's Mills, you know? And that's...

She's just such a powerhouse, and I remember I watched her in season four with Marty Blair, who was playing the young Eleven that, you know, they did the face replacement on for Millie.

And it's the scene where she's just sent Henry through the wall, and Brenner comes in, and Brenner says, "What have you done?" And she turns around, and she looks at him, and there's a slight change.

And I remember watching this on an iPad.

But I was like, "Let's, let's do something in the eyes." And so what about a red pencil? I'm like, "Cool, sick.

Let's do that." So we started to, I started to play around with that in my, in my work.

And then, um, I remember speaking to, to Amy for Season 4, um, head of makeup on that, and I remember telling her this, and there's that turn in Season 4, you know, in Episode 7, right, where, um, he, uh, he sort of, you know, has killed all the kids and, and [laughs] turns around and Eleven's in the room.

And I was saying, "Oh, it'd be great, you know, we could do a bit of red pencil." And Amy was just basically like, "I can actually do you one better.
