But basically, yes, all this discussion about Elektron gear being, uh, being, uh, improved.

Um, what it means for manufacturers, what it means for support, and how it can impact industry in general.

And people almost kind of were happy to, are happy to see comp- synth companies burn, you know, because they, they've kept things away from us for years.

N- and I think it's, I mean, to be polite, I think it's shortsighted because we've just got these tools which allow for things like rapid decompilation of, of binaries and allow you to inject kind of custom coding and stuff so that, you know, lots of people can alter hardware in, in a way that wasn't possible before.

But we all need to remember that that wasn't the world a year ago, two years ago, and that when these companies, Erica Synths, Elektron, um, were, were creating these things, DSP was something that, and it still is if you want good DSP, something you have to pay for.

You have to pay a programmer [laughs] money to develop features.

Uh, so it's a, it's a really wild time for music, uh, electronic music gizmo firmware hacking.
