I've done it a few states now with them and joined forces with them at the EKKA and judged it, and we're gonna have a, um, the grand final in Curry at the end of the year and, you know, they, they do similar stuff to you, man.

It's all for charity, man.

It's all raising awareness, mental health and like a, a mullet for myself is like, it's a conversation starter.

I've never been to the Melbourne show.

and for anyone listening the echo is the brisbane exhibition

yes should should be noted um a lot of my colleagues are in victoria and did not know what the echo was and also didn't understand why we had a wednesday public holiday But I'll take it.

Is that what, is that what the vlogs are? What are you, what are you doing in the vlogs?

Oh, we'll do things like, well, recently we went to the Ekka, um, and we'll do, you know, we'll, we'll, we, uh, we, uh [laughs]...

Marty dressed up as one of the like Ekka staff and like took people on tours.

Yeah, took people on fake tours in the, within the Ekka.

So we'll just do, you know, stupid social experiments and stuff like that within our vlogs.

What is your churn, of s- uh, subscription churn?

She fears if she takes it any further, there'll be retribution.

The grandmother suffered a broken rib after an altercation at the Ekka in Brisbane.

The Ekka is like Brisbane's version of the Easter Show.

It had been reported that she'd been assaulted by a group of young men and women.

They allegedly spat in her direction and physically assaulted her, and it resulted in the grandmother going to hospital.

We-- I had the chance to chat to you a couple of days ago and w- I'll say scratch the surface, but, um, it's probably a great week to be chatting all things beef and especially King River Beef for you guys.

Uh, it is the Ekka week that we're recording this in Queensland, which I think this is the first year in three years I haven't been there.

So a little bit disappointing, mate, but, um, the Ekka, talk me through what's the vibe, what's it feeling like, and how was the dinner last night?

Yeah, um, awesome.

It's, it's wonderful to be around Brisbane this time of the year obviously.

And, um, and when you're a, a beef company and a, um, you know, exporter of beef, it's, the Ekka's a good launching platform and, and it's a good...

We, we had cattle in the paddock to plate, um, comp, and while, while we didn't win, we certainly, um, it's certainly good to see how your peers are doing and, and it's a, it's a wonderful platform.

This year it was, um, it was f- they were all fed in the same feedlot, and I think this was the first year where they had all five categories, whether it be the trade category, the HTP free or the, uh, and both Wagyu categories and, um, the 100-day or I think they fed them 120-day, um, export category as well.

You still take your shirt off.

You took it off at the Ekka.

Yeah, well, anyway.

I live in Brisbane, so this is show week.

I am taking my children and husband to the ECCA tomorrow, as we love to call it.

We will be eating potato spirals on sticks and buying show bags from the pavilion and avoiding all of the rides and looking at all the animals.

That's my favourite part.
