It was a pretty banger cast though.

Martin Maul, Michael McKean, Christopher Lloyd, Madeline Kahn, Eileen Brennan, And, and, um, as you said, Leslie Ann Warren, who the first couple of times that I saw the movie, not paying attention to who they actually were.

I, I assumed it was Susan Sarandon.

I thought it was Susan Sarandon.

may know her from Private Benjamin also.

Yes, Private Benjamin, for sure.

Eileen Brennan as Mrs. Peacock.

She's just great because she's just, she's trying to be buttoned up, you know.

Patricia Belcher as Giselle Gay Hartman.

And Eileen Brennan is in that film as well.

Yep, Peter Falk.

She's one of the, like, more quirky ones.

You know, she's really, like you said, she's skittish.

But Eileen Brennan, like, fits.

Oh, yeah, she plays it well.

Uh, budget of 15 million, box office 14.6 million, so little, you know, bit of a loss there.

But starring, of course, Tim Curry, as well as, uh, Eileen Brennan, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Mull, Leslie Ann Warren, Colleen Camp, Lee Ving, among others.

It of course is based off the popular board game of the same name, where a group of strangers are brought to this, uh, mysterious mansion, and throughout the course of the night, they must fi- they must, uh, evade a murderer in their midst who is, uh, while also dealing with their own, uh, their own personal, uh, demons that have, uh, that have all brought them here.

Uh, so like I usually do when it comes to, uh, paying tribute to a performer, I'm going to s- kinda focus mostly, mainly on, um, on Curry's performance.

Tim Curry plays the butler, and he's the backbone of the film, but we'll talk more about his performance later.

Eileen Brennan plays Mrs. Peacock, the wife of a U.S. senator.

Brennan is probably best known for her role in Private Benjamin, which earned her a Best Supporting Actress nod.

Mrs. Peacock is flamboyant and fun, but also very snooty, and she takes herself far too seriously, which leads to some great moments.

yeah i think that's my order too partially because the miss miss peacock ending it feels like they would do it because she's so she's like the lead the person you suspect the least yeah but also

like she does seem like the most unhinged to me in a lot of ways i do really have to shout out oh what's this actress's name uh i gotta shout out uh Eileen Brennan, who plays Mrs. Peacock.

Oh, I guess she's also in Jeepers Creepers.

What do you know about that? But Eileen Brennan is so funny in this movie.

I think that like she's the whole ensemble is good, but she has a few standout moments.
