Had a great love for this.

So there's a short story in the anthology party like it's 1998, and, um, they're in the middle of this adventure, and then the, a blonde Doctor Who turns up, and [laughs] you absolutely think it's Jodie Whittaker, right? And then [laughs] sort of dressed, describing how she's dressed, and I'm going, "Who the fuck's that?" And I'm waiting...

Morbius is one of those other ancient evil Time Lords who came back again.

He, I, I think, I mean, the Eighth Doctor, Dinny faced him in, um, Big Finish, Luke Tamara.

Yeah, I believe, like, someone find, might even be the sister, would find the brain at the bottom of the cliff and he comes back, but actually in a proper Time Lord body.

And then, yeah-

They're like, "We wanted to kill a Time Lord today, and God damn it, we will kill a Time Lord," [laughs] whether it's the Doctor or Morbius.

Absolutely, yeah.

His brains be indestructible though, 'cause as I said, you know, there's an Eighth Doctor two-parter where like, yeah, they find his brain at the bottom of a cliff and use that to properly resurrect Morbius, and it's like this dude's brain has been knocked so many ways now.

No, whenever I imagine reading Fitz Kreiner in the Eighth Doctor books, I just see Mr. Lucas.

I don't know.

So hopefully we'll have copies, copies of the book there.

Um, as the graphic there says, uh, Reece C. Pontif, who's the author of our Leap of Eight, the Eighth Doctor, kind of, I call it a guide, although it's not really a guide to the Eighth Doctor.

It's, it's a book all about the, the, the Eighth Doctor in extended media.

So i- it's, it's like a background, behind the scenes look at the Big Finish audios, the novellas, the novels, the books, the comic strips, talking to all the creators and everything like that.

Brilliant.

The most interesting one was the Time Lord Victorious and even then nothing really happened.

I'd like to see one centered on Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor or David Bradley's First Doctor.

This contradicts itself I find.

This is like half right, half wrong.

I think they could.

Do they acknowledge that the Master returned in this manner and the Eighth Doctor fought him No.

In America.

No.

Okay.

Because, I mean, you know what I mean?

It's kind of a big... uh thing you know in as far as in the care in the history of the character of the doctor um they okay you know they embrace and acknowledge the fact that this is the eighth doctor right uh played by paul mccann you know um they had to cobble together an ending for this doctor, you know, of course, and he really only has one real filmed adventure, you know, but, but because of the segue from seventh to eighth, you know, this matters, um, But, you know, look, I mean, and it happened in the United States in the fiction of the, you know, the movie.

The master became an American for a very short time.

so if you're going to include this there is a stronger argument to include all of the big finishes which is an argument that and i'm going to bring emily in right here includes the eighth doctor short story night of the doctor in which he blatantly mentions some but specifically not all misses some of the later ones oddly would you guess uh big finish companions um canonizing that so yeah I regret to inform you, if you're going to include this, you have to include all of Big Finish.

that's fair that's i mean honestly i probably wouldn't like that either so

So I guess the positive of not including Big Finish in the stitches and time edit, just to circle back to my point, is you won't have to include all 400 hours of the Eighth Doctor having amnesia.

So that's a plus.

Why didn't she stay there?

Well, she's a popular companion, 'cause she's had, like, six series of the Robots, and she's been in, like, countless Eighth Doctor stories.

Actually, the Robots was surprisingly good, wasn't it?

And the Robots was very good for her-

It would make a great audio drama.

Oh.

Phwoar, um, books, I'm gonna stick with a, with an Eighth Doctor one, and say Vampire Science.
