The kids woke up with a jolt and wore their new clothes and got ready to go pray Eid salah at their masjid.

No one was late.

Mama, Baba, and the kids loaded up the yummy favorite foods to take to the Eid lunch.

Once Eid salah was done, the kids ran to greet their parents.

Eid Mubarak.

If you've ever been to Hajj, you see that.

If you've ever been to Eid Salah, you see that.

People of all different colors, all different backgrounds, all putting their head on the ground to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, all there looking for the pleasure of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Islam has taught us that.

And from those Ibadat, our specific Ibadat, to the day of Eid.

Where we come out to the Eid Salah.

Everybody strives to come out to the Eid Salah.

The old, the young.

The male, the female, the woman who's on her period where it's not permissible for her to pray salah, she comes out to the Eid salah.

And as the Prophet ﷺ says, she engages in everything that the people engage in except for the salah itself.

Meaning she does the takbir and she gives the sadaqah and all ibadah that the people engage in on this day of Eid except for the salah within itself.

Showing the importance of everybody trying to come out to the Eid salah.

Because, you know, my bosses are telling me, but I don't want to give this khutbah.

It's like the imams who are fasting and leading Eid Salah.

We don't want to go there right now.

So the thing is, what should we do? Subhanallah.

He told him it is not legislated.

And the man said to Sa'id ibn Musayyib, is Allah going to punish me for prayers that I am praying? Why? Because I am only praying Salah.

Salah is Hassanah.

Salah is a good deed.

Like in the way that he was praying that Salah was incorrect.

So he said, am I going to be punished for Salah? And Saeed al-Musayyib said, no, you're not going to be punished for the Salah.

لَكِنْ يُعَذِّبُكَ عَلَى مُخَالَفَةِ السُّنَّةِ But Allah will punish you for contradicting the sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

That is the third example.
