Um, yeah, when I saw this, I, I was just kind of, like, looking into some Russian swimming news and this popped up, and I go- You're telling me we almost had Yegor Kornev in the NCAA?

This would've been incredible.

And then he just got absolutely dominated off that start where...

Kornev and Milak just went...

That's who I was looking for.

They just went out like absolute nutters.

Now, everyone always breathes every two or four and gets their head down at the end.

Whereas he was breathing every three, and I think he didn't breathe like the last eight or nine meters.

And he managed to get his hand on the wall ahead of Kornev.

I thought it was just an absolutely ridiculous swim.

Mm-hmm.

Kornev, forty-six seven four.

And then Milak decides, "Oh, I'm a, I'm a hundred freestyler." Forty-six-

And I was just trying to focus on that.

And yeah, I was looking at the results at Europeans and, um, you know, I knew-- I saw, I think David was forty-seven one, I think, in prelims, and I was like, "Okay, yeah, he's on.

Like, he's, he's gonna, he's gonna be on." And then, yeah, I know, uh, Kornev, he's, he has had a great year, you know, going, breaking forty-seven for the first time a few months ago and then going, you know, backing it up here.

And then, yeah, Milak, you know, that's just impressive, impressive for, for all three of those guys.
