Losing Zaire Williams and Jalen Wilson in free agency and trading away Nick Claxton as a part of that, what, four or five team deal that ultimately net them Julius Randle.

They still have Igor Demin on the team.

He's an unsigned restricted free agent, but he most likely will return, as well as some other guys.

Take a look at their starting five.

Uh, so you can't, you can't really go wrong in the 11th round with Darren Peterson, Cason Wallace, uh, and Igor Demin, who I have on my queue as well.

And I guess for the fan base and pursuit of that championship, whenever that may be, it has to come down to patience.

I know this franchise has been asking their fans to be patient for years now, you know, since the, since the Katie big three blew up, but you know, blowups like that have fallout and it takes time and it takes patience and You know, there are pieces in place, right? You got to get Igor Demin, who's young.

You got to Mike Hill, Brown Jr.

And, you know, although the Nets didn't do too much flashy with it this offseason, the Nets do have cap space, man.

But, you know, with so many shooters around him, you know, MPJ, Mikel Brown Jr., I think, led the NCAA in long three-pointers last year.

um, part of why the Nets picked them up.

And then you got a guy like Igor Demin who, you know, could bear, you know, up until he got injured at toward the end of last season.

And he was right there with, um, buddy from the, uh, Hornets, uh, Concanuple.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Nets, but it's not just those two that are playing.

Igor Demin, one of the five first-round draft picks.

If he doesn't break out as a player, which many people expect him to do this season, this could be considered one of the worst drafts of this decade as far as the five first-round picks and nobody making a significant contribution.

But I still think Igor Demin of the five could be the one to actually go ahead and become a consistent NBA player of any of the five.

I believe it was Powell, Drake Powell, and also Danny Wolfe as far as options becoming consistent role players for the team.

So we'll see what happens.

But yeah, five first round picks and a lot is riding on Igor Demin to be the one that actually does some really good things in the NBA.

So I don't understand their point guard room, but I like the talent in their point guard room.

So you got Igor Demin, Nolan Traore and Ben Seraf.

I liked all three of those guys in that draft, the last two higher than they got picked at.

And I think they, you know, all three of them showed some promise.

Real quick, I know we were talking about, well, if not Ben Simmons, who else? Here's a list from SpotTrack of 2026 point guard free agents who are available right now.

Igor Demin and Jamal Shedd are restricted.

So, I mean, you like both of those, but they're restricted.

So the unrestricted guys on this list, still available.

Well, I mean, did they...

Of, of the last, of the five guys that they had, I mean, Igor seems to be one of their better players and I think that he, it look, looks like they might've got something in him, and we're gonna find out what they, what they have with this kid Mikal Brown.

That being said, it seems that they have a found- it, it seems like they have a foundational, two foundational pieces, and we're moving forward with these two guys.

Danny Wolf doesn't really seem to be working out.

In addition to moving on from Claxton, that whole group, Claxton, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, they're gone.

So now we're moving forward with Mikal Brown, Mike Brown, I'm sorry.

Mikal Brown and Igor.

That's who we're starting over with.
