And it depends on whether it's egocentronic or egodistonic.

Egodistonic is when someone is having thoughts of hurting their baby and they're absolutely horrified by it and it scares them.

Egocentronic means they are having these thoughts and they think that's... not an awful thing that is not something that the evidence shows that was a normal state of mind for this woman and there are lots and lots of attempts that this woman made from what i can see to get help and a whole lot of people who did not understand postpartum psychosis this woman should have been hospitalized immediately with her baby if possible never left alone with her baby if possible.

She should have been given lithium.
