Eglinton

You know, talking about deep stations, Mary, by some crazy coincidence, just as you guys were doing that interview at Nathan Phillips Square, I was on my way to my friend's 70th birthday party.

I transferred to Line 5, the new Eglinton line, at Eglinton Station, and I only needed to go one stop from Eglinton to Avenue.

And what you can't see on the map, and you only find out when you go do it in real life, which is what these guys were talking about, is that Avenue Station is the deepest station in the entire TTC system, I know, because I looked it up.

And I swear, taking the five escalators from the platform to the surface took longer than the time I spent on the train from Eglinton to Avenue.
