Effective field goal percentage

But that's why I think this graph is interesting because It's more interesting than just looking at who had the highest true shooting percentage last year because we're trying to identify the exact players whose previous numbers might not fully reflect what they're going to be doing this year since they're going to have a different role.

And so that leads kind of into this second graph, which is field goal attempts per game versus effective field goal percentage.

And you can see here you got Filip Jovic on the very left side, which means he's attempting very little shots.

And then Eric Daly kind of up here towards the center.

You can see that line going right through him down the center there.

But he averaged the most on this, I guess, this squad of these six last year.

And so this one is field goal attempts per game, like I just said, versus effective field goal percentage.

And so we're basically putting the volume that these guys are shooting at with the efficiency that they're shooting at.
