Loeb went on to have Forbes magazine call him the most quoted man on Wall Street.

And he was also a founding partner of the former Wall Street firm E.F. Hutton.

So big deal on Wall Street, this guy, the battle for investment survival.

But for our purposes, the exact origin of the headline doesn't even matter that much.

And right as the doors are closing, this Middle Eastern guy walks on the plane.

plane just goes dead silent, like the old EF Hutton commercial.

And the guy looks at me, says something that I can't say on air.

And I said, look, they're not doing the same thing.

Well, I had so many thoughts.

And, um, you know, for those of us of a certain era, um, when I say when EF Hutton talks, people listen, um, that was it.

When you first talked to me about that idea, as I was listening, I was very intrigued.

At the same point, it is scary thinking about that bubble in Lansing and the comfort that you have in that bubble and thinking about coming to an industry that I didn't know, a company that I didn't know, a, a geographical region that I didn't know, and then working for someone who, frankly, I didn't know real well at the time, and I was fortunate you took that chance on me.

I'm guessing that she came across that Manchester band because they recently supported Geese on some dates abroad.

But, uh, she has her ear to the underground, my high school daughter, and, uh, when she speaks, I listen, kind of like that E.F. Hutton commercial years ago.

When E.F. Hutton talks, people listen, and I think she's onto something there.

The new album just out August 21st, so not even a month old.

It's called It Goes On, and the Manchester band gave us a song there called Dobro.

And she got like, I don't know if anyone's old enough to remember that when EF Hutton talks, people listen, but that people just swarmed around her.

I found out later, she's one of the CEOs of one of these microchip, you know, the quantum computing chip companies just happened to be next to me.
