It never ends well when you're talking to these things on the other side.

Now, could you possibly be talking to angels? Perhaps.

You know, it's, again, I think what, what's great for me is that I come at this material, like I said, with a skeptical lens which means not disbelieving it, but just by trying to make sure that I'm withholding judgment as much, as much as I can, and just letting the, the sense of mystery be palpable, to be real.

And for me to be humble enough, you know, God willing that I can be humble enough just to say, "I don't know And I'm not gonna know and that's okay, and so what I need to do is present the mystery, not debunk it, not encourage other people to believe X, Y, and Z, not to sell someone a, a, a, a, a story about what really happened with Edward Kelley and John Dee, 'cause I don't know that.

Mm-hmm.

What I do know is this is really mysterious [laughs] and I need to sit in the mystery.

You know, uh, I think that the stuff that...

Well, I guess I can say that, you know, the John Dee and Edward Kelley stuff, when they're talking to angels and they get the so-called Enochian language, and, uh, that, that body of literature, the, the John Dee, Edward Kelley sessions, th- that's perhaps the most strange and compelling case to me.

I mean, so strange and compelling that I literally went to Amsterdam to study hermeticism just to be like, "I want to just study this." And then, like, I literally just wrote everything on Dee and Kelley, or Dee and Kelley, uh, combined.

What if we could take what John Dee was doing, because he was using Obsidian and he was talking to spirits near the end of his astrology journey.

Like he got kind of bored with doing astrology, right? And was mixing it with talking to spirits with Edward Kelly.

what would AI think of that if we applied it with AI? So then it was like, they would be using AI.

Like that's what AI started, the very first versions of a lot of the models.

Johannes Kepler and Tycho Brahe did foundational astronomy under Rudolf's patronage.

In the next wing, he sponsored alchemists and men who claimed to speak with angels, including two Englishmen named John Dee and Edward Kelly.

Some believe they were the ones who actually wrote the book.

After Rudolf, the book turns up with a man named Jacobus Sinapius, who signed his name on the first page.

Combine that with Feighan-Davis's finding, and you need as many as five people maintaining one invented system across 240 pages without a single correction.

Cons tend to be lazier than that, which leads us to this theory.

What if it's a language that only a handful of people ever spoke? Let me tell you a little more about John Dee and Edward Kelly, Rudolf's angel whisperers.

John Dee was an English mathematician, astrologer, and advisor to Elizabeth I, and he collected Roger Bacon manuscripts.

Now, the Aethyrs are these inner plane territories, and they're ruled by these angelic figures.

Now, the first people to ever talk about the Aethyrs were John Dee and Edward Kelley, and they wrote the manuscripts of them in the 16th century, and this is where we get The Enochian language from is from John Dee and Edward Kelley, who met with these angelic beings in the desert.

Now, Crowley has a tough time because he's no- he's nowhere the initiate as he is later on in his life.

We're talking 1900.

So you're telling me.

So to fill anybody in the audience who don't know what he's referring to, John D., the archetype of 007, considered one of the greatest magicians ever, credibly erudite, influential man under the Elizabethan court in England, and is recruited then by some of the princes of Europe to cast their astrological fortunes and mixed up with a con man, Edward Kelly, who then convinced eventually Rudolph II that they could transmutate lead into gold.

Whole rigmarole.

John Dee goes from essentially the most famous Englishman to a man who dies in poverty.

[laughs] Why? All the other ones are doing that for him

[laughs] Um, and he actually had a, struck up a partnership with a guy called Edward Kelley, who was a bit of a shyster.

And, uh, this Edward Kelley claimed he could talk to angels.

And John Dee, who never a- could actually hear the words of the angels, just believed that Edward Kelley could talk to angels.

And one day, one of these angels spoke to Kelley and had a message for John Dee, and the message was that he and Kelley had to share everything they had.

Everything.
