Edward Dube

He recorded that, "None were baptized save they took upon them the name of Christ, having a determination to serve Him to the end." Taking upon us His name requires a lifelong determination to serve Him, and King Benjamin provided the divine key, "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God."

Next, Elder Edward Dube of the Presidency of the Seventy spoke about coming unto Christ.

President Oaks taught Jesus Christ did all of this because He loves all of the children of God.

His suffering and atoning sacrifice show us how completely devoted He is to all of us.

Elder Neal L. Anderson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will then speak to us.

He will be followed by Elder James Gio Fantoni of the Seventy and Elder Edward Dube of the Presidency of the Seventy.

My beloved brothers and sisters, I am grateful to be with you in this worldwide conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The hymn we just heard sung by the choir speaks of promises which will become more important and more precious in the time ahead for all of us and for those we love.
