Midnight Syndicate, the dark symphonic duo whose music has scored haunted houses for nearly 30 years, has released their new studio album, Planket's Grove.

The 18-track album is composers Edward Douglas and Gavin Goska, transports listeners into a shadowy realm of folk horror, gothic mystery, and dark fantasy.

The record is built around the town of Illswitch and a grove that shares the album's name.

Goska describes Illswitch as the living place rather than making the town abandoned where the listener's task would be to uncover the mysteries of what once was.
