Edna Best

Good afternoon, everybody.

What's on NBC today? It's the Browning version starring Maurice Evans and Edna Best in their original roles on Theatre Guild on the Air tonight on NBC.

And then stay tuned for the songs of Thomas L. Thomas, now joining the cast on American album of familiar music.

This is Fred Collins speaking.

Next week, our play is Noël Coward's epic drama of a British destroyer, the motion picture success, In Which We Serve.

And starring in it, next Monday night, will be Ronald Colman with Edna Best.

This play takes a single ship and follows her and her crew from the day of her proud launching to the still prouder day of her death in battle.

Well, I, for one, will be listening to that play, CB.
