Edison

So I didn't want to deal with it later.

And then for some reason I ended up, you know, like listening to my GPS that day and I ended up going to Edison, New Jersey to get, and I'm thinking, why am I on this road? I thought it was going to be like easy off, go back on, you know, it took me 25 miles out of my way.

And that, and then the next truck stop I went and got gasoline at, you know, down the road, I said to him, I said, hey, were you on, you know, the highway? He goes, oh, yeah.

He goes, it was a big accident.

You know, and same day, another accident.

And I'm just thinking, and I said, where, I go as an Edison.

He goes, oh, it happened just after Edison? You know, when my car, I got off, and he goes, everything, it was a mess.

You know, and I went, wow, thanks for that information.

And then back to the cursing, which I apologize, I know it's not for everyone.

I also then got lucky and we moved from Queens to Edison, New Jersey in the 80s, which was like pure like, just like, like the streets of New Jersey can raise you real good, you know? And so just like I had this perfect storm and 14 being dragged into the family liquor store business that my dad built up from nothing.

Like it just kind of all quote unquote worked out for me.

And also the DNA, like I have my mom's soul.

Our guests are going to be hosting the SDR show live at the Exotica event in Edison, New Jersey this Saturday, October 24th at 4.30 p.m. On stage, I assume? On stage.

Wow, that's fucking awesome.

What's wild is that, I'll give AJ credit for this, we were here last year, right? And we were supposed to do a live event at Exotica, and I don't remember exactly what happened, but at the last minute something screwed up.

I'm going there.

I often talk about, people that really know me, my story is I went from Queens to Edison, New Jersey.

Edison, New Jersey is where I became a Jets fan and an entrepreneur.

But it's not fully true.

Queens to Dover for a year, then Edison.

Dover doesn't make my story.

I never understood why, but I'm starting to tap into it.

And then I sold stuff.

And particularly coming out of the tournament that we all just enjoyed this last summer, which was incredible in terms of the sellouts and the viewership and the passion and the fandom and the new fans.

to give those fans, more of them a local team of their own to root for.

So by design, what we'll be doing is working with the MLS clubs, whether it's a club like Chicago Fire 2, a club like NYCFC 2, who we just announced were moving to central New Jersey, to the city of Edison in Middlesex County.

moving that club, working with the municipality to build a new stadium, relaunching and rebranding that club in the image and with an identity that reflects its new home, but with the same players, the best young players who are, in the case of NYCFC, on their way to play at the new Etihad Park in Queens that is going to be opening up next summer.
